Akyem is an interesting asset. HUGE plant... been producing for 11 years, but... does seem to have perhaps 3-4 years of production though... this seems to imply that they are likely to extend the mine life?
Perhaps this is what PRU has been saving up it's pile of cash for...
Would push PRU towards 800k+ p.a producer, but... it would push their all in costs a bit higher....
But... on the other hand, so many producers right now are hoarding cash, but not buying anything.
Just such a different situation to 15 years ago.
