i agree. When reading the balance sheet and debt position, it’s important to remember that $1.7b of non-current liabilities is rent for floor space... as opposed to a loan that needs to be repaid..
further, the Myer brand has been written off from a goodwill valuation on the balance sheet...
Imo the balance sheet of Myer undersells the true position of the business..
