If the RBA raised interest rates earlier, what would that signal? 6 months of higher prices and the media is sprooking a reversal in monetary policy is certain. I'm speculating we go negative, food gets cheaper. The history books will say "despite a pandemic and east-europe war, inflation remained historically low over a 30 year period, as did interest rates.
