With today's very good anticipated NPAT announcement, I feel vindicated. Maybe there's much to going around stores like MYR and quietly observing shopper traffic and buying habits. After all, Solomon Lew does this!
Congratulations to all holders for sticking with the company, even though the macro economic environment is poor and we have a leftie new Federal government that's on training wheels when inflation is rising and interest rates are set to further increase.
I was pleased to make a profit on sale of MYR shares so let's hope, over time, those who sell in some cases do likewise. For very longer term holders who originally subscribed at A$4.10, still disappointing, but slowly improving.
It was really impressive last year how the Pommy CEO answered questions: some in other companies let complacency shine through, whereas he didn't. The MYR CEO seems very competent even if he doesn't spend all his time in Melbourne (from memory, he has a house in the USA).
