Yeah, it's a really interesting dynamic. The shopping centres now quite need Myer as an anchor tennent and Myer is starting to play hard-ball.
If you were a smaller hairdresser, butcher, newsagent, cafe ect, would you really want to sign a new long lease if you thought that the Myer was going to move? Half your customers would probably start going to a different centre.
