Yeah it's definitely been a news vacuum, but Lew's entities still haven't increased their stake, which is either a change of strategy or for some reason they are not able to (such as having non-public information, which is legal/common given they have a Director on the Board, but they can't go trade on it).
Volumes haven't been huge anyway, and for investors after an M&A kick there's about 10 companies that are being whispered about being takeover candidates at the moment! Wait until rates finally come back down and it will probably feel like 1/4 of the ASX is being taken private or consolidated as we catch-up on 5 years of relatively few deals.
