There's a book written in 2011 by a senior finance writer for the Sydney Morning Herald entitled Dot.Bomb Australia. The tagline is: "how we wrangled, conned and argie-bargied our way into the new digital universe", which gives a clear impression of the authors take on things.

In a nutshell, the book talks about the dot com bubble in Australia during the late 90's and the colourful cast of characters involved in the spec markets at the time. It's interesting to note that Kalina Cycle gets a mention along with some of the people involved to this day. Worth a read if you can find a copy floating around.
