I always like to invest at maximum negativity..
1) I think Treagus view was build a good company and they will eventually come. He had the backing of the large shareholders so didn't worry too much. The biggest shareholder is now gone and Jon doesnt have the same luxury and I believe he understands this.
2) I think Jon is definitely trying a different approach to Treagus was in terms of communication and also working with the market. He understands he needs to deliver and doesn't have a large shareholder protecting him.
3) We are actually at the 11th hour. I know many of you have been in this a long, long time. BUT Pharma is a long, long process and probably NEU listed too early. I am just approaching 4 years now. The online spruikers have come and gone several times (you know who they are).
4) We now have a Phase 3 Trial Drug (Trof for Retts), a Phase 2 (for FragileX) and 3 Phase 1 Drugs which will go into Phase II early next year. This is a better position than the company has been in for the past 10 years!
5) In the next 12-15 months, we will possibly have
a) Approved Phase III treatment for Retts for North America
b) A marketing partner for other markets for Retts
c) FragileX progress. (a roadmap)
d) 3 Completed Phase II indications for NNZ2591.
So whilst you might not like managements past performance or their promotion. Reality is we have a clear roadmap (a major part run by an AGGRESSIVE company in ACADIA) for 4 potential products to progress to the next phase. Very enticing value proposition and hence why I am happy to hold and buy on weakness. And I am a investor not a daytrader.
If I had my time again, I would be investing probably in 3 months from now (around the Phase 1 results for NNZ2591) and not 4 years ago in hindsight but it is what it is and I am now going to see this through.
One point I will make is despite, I will say, improved communication since June, I do believe NEU needs to engage a investor relations firm to help them improve messaging and also do some promotion work with potential institutions they invest in this space. The pricing right now is certainly enticing and their seems to be some liquidity (though still not enough) to get them on.
My opinion only. Do your own research. Not investment advice.
