@garrye..... some say diworsefication and some say diversification. Some say don’t put all your eggs in one basket and the Swiss say “ put all your eggs in the one basket and watch it like hell “ ! i too am disappointed about the (lack of) performance from professional fund managers. However I can remember buying WES at $12.00 and CBA at $26.00 during the GFC and looking at the way things have bounced back. Have a look at the price of CSL back then ! nothwithstanding, I dont know what I would have bought instead of CDM and if/ whether that too would have lost value as well. i guess the proof of the pudding will be not what he has lost in the CDM Fund, but what steps he takes to regain the value and if the loss of value is recovered, and if it is due to his investment style and/or process or merely due to market fluctuations. Then again, don’t forget that everyone has 20/20 hindsight !
