BobF has calculated a per chip cost estimate of 14c, Based on info provided to date that seems a reasonable assessment of cost if slightly on the high side. Given the USD$9.6M purchase order, that suggests something in the order of 70M chips have been ordered? EM previous announcements about capacity that order will either commit EM production for at least the next 12 months or alternatively the stated increases in EM productive capacity is being used by AKP in this initial commercial order. As you correctly observe, why would AKP commit to such a purchase order if AKP are not confident of being able to convert those chips to cash in the near future? Seems reasonable to expect orders are held pending delivery of the finished MEMS or am I getting ahead of the logical process of business?
