PowerHouse Energy is a global alternative energy company with a head office in the UK but operations based in Pasadena, California. they are developing a range of new technologies for converting waste, biomass and coal into syngas using a very high temperature gasification system developed by a Swiss company - Pyromex.
They would like to have Linc's modular FT-GTL system to offer their customers to add value to their clean energy proposition. Linc gains exclusive rights to PowerHouse Energy's above ground gasification technology on all coal and GTL applications.
PB probably sees this as yet another option for Linc technology and to have a finger in the pie of another clean energy company for $6M.
Below is a press release from PowerHouse regarding their Tie up with Pyromex which gives a bit more detail on their technology and plans.
