    There are $40.9 million of assets. Of which $40.7m seems to have been written off by impairment provisions.

    So is that all it takes? put a negative figure of the same amount in the balance sheet and voila $40 million disappears. Is that all you have to do to account for it? This was real money (OUR real money) that someone got.
