    "What I mostly want answered is whether their increase in 'expenses' can now be maintained at a lower level than the increase in revenue...that's what business is all about imo...increasing revenue at a higher rate than expenses.

    yes agreed the profit margin is just as important as increasing the revenue, hopefully they are correct in saying the profit was down due to increasing marketing, pitty they couldnt have ammortised the marketing expenses over a longer time frame ie as a capital expense
    Maybe the new accounting standard AASB9 has changed the way they can do this now, just guessing as not an accountant.
    Definately not a day traders stock as the company seems to be interested in building up its goodwill rather than its bank balance.
