Alexanders, the problem with this statement is that prior to Cellestis's Quantiferon testing for latent TB has been so inaccurate that figures on latent to active rates are very iffy. With more widespread use of QFT, and therefore a more accurate picture of latent TB, we might find that a greater percentage of people move from latent to active TB.
