HTA shares were my first stock purchase years ago [doh!!]. Since then I continue to watch [morbid fascination I think]. I still am a Voda customer. Recently I began what turned out to be a long email exchange with customer care regarding my poor service.
Pretty good response from them overall but it led nowhere in the end. The strong impression I formed is the problems are network wide and they are doing what they can to put out 'spot fires' all over the place. Nothing is at all likely to happen around me for any given time frame.
I continue with Voda as a bit of perverse research ... I figure if my service improves so it does for everyone else. Declining customer base does not even seem to be helping them with congestion issues. Hard to see them rising from the 'pit' IMO.
The NBN, I thought, might even things out but that too is turning out as a problem ... even if it was running, the expense for operators utilizing it will squeeze the bottom line for the minor telco competitors.
The first thing I do these days if I agree to a new contract with Voda is I unlock the phone asap.
So far I have not bailed but it is a near thing.
