I suspect they are paying a dividend because the major shareholders were the vendors of the businesses that went into PSZ. Most of the dividend cash will go to them. A DRP would allow much of this cash to be kept in the business, assuming the major shareholders took up the plan and would be like a mini cap raising.
Deferred consideration would be paid in shares I reckon.
I've sold a few shares while there is some liquidity. Outside of reporting time, the liquidity is terrible.
