Just one example for those who don't realize yet just how tough a competitor Netflix is
going to be:
Danny Cohen, the BBC’s director of TV, said the performance was “a big achievement”. But he warned that the broadcaster was facing increasing competition for the rights to broadcast the best shows.
“There’s been a recent example where Netflix was able to blow us out of the water in terms of a deal,” he said. “The sums offered by Netflix were five times what we could offer.”
That's the BBC saying they were blown out of the water by Netflix!
