Im not Peter but I do have some thoughts.
I think John De Zwart has provided CAF exactly what it was after. A real visionary to come in and clear the decks. For the first time in a while CAF has a clear path of action.

The FP side has transitioned to a new revenue model which I believe will release some working capital requirements (as they receive funds upfront as opposed to commissions along the way), and substantially de-risks the business. The historical claims are very close to being extinguished as many would now fall under the statute of limitations - so most skeletons are out of the closet from here.

The funding (insurance) side of the business is interesting, however this is where my knowledge lacks. JDZ has a solid growth plan for this segment and CAF appears to be making some good relationships (e.g. recently with Steadfast). As for the industry dynamics for premium funding, I am lacking in detail and need to spend some time understanding where we are in terms of the cycle and what is realistic to expect going forward.

Overall, I feel that operationally CAF is in a much better place than it has been for a very long time.
