PerthFX there are cutbacks/redundancies going on all over the place if you haven't noticed...all of the miners are winding back staff numbers. I'm sure there are even cutbacks in the retail area.
I expect higher unemployment figures over the rest of the year and perhaps a drop in the housing market, especially if we don't see a commodities bounce.
