One day out of the blue we will hopefully get a joint press release from Phylogica and Dana-Farber in relation to their collaborative work on Myc and myeloma. Its one of those behind the scenes efforts which could potentially provide headlines.
We don't know which team Phylogica is working with but we do know that they are global experts in Myc. The interview with Dr Jay Bradner from September 2014 titled The Myc Problem in Myeloma provides inspirational insights into the work at Dana-Farber. Bradner has left but undoubtedly the pool of knowledge around the science remains. If we are going to get a therapeutic break through in targeting Myc this could be the place where it happens.
