I am really looking forward to the trial results which should be coming out in a few months. Raw rock phosphate is going to be a hard sell in the alkaline soils of the Prairies, so the success of the sulfur/humus blend trials are going to be critical. In any case, the high P availability of the rock phosphate and proximity to market (at Fernie) are powerful competitive advantages. If the blends show statistically significant improvements in yield on a competitive $/ton basis, the product will sell itself, in much the same way that their 0-7-0 product is going gangbusters here in Oz.
