It's been 4 years since Thorn paid over the odds to buy Cash Resources debtor finance business. They have now written off almost all the goodwill in one hit. What does this really mean? Someone in Thorn exec team signed off on this purchase and it has gone backwards ever since. Either the board doesn't know/understand what is going on or simply hasn't looked.
