Based on the feed back that I have received when discussing the possibility of the shares being returned is that at the AGM the vote was passed by the majority and that the share holders have agreed for these shares the be awarded.
I have argued that based on public information available at the time of the AGM that the majority of the Top Twenty share holders are either family or members of BPG, so even with those abstaining for voting for themselves, that the vote would be passed based on the majority vote by those who may have a vested interest in it passing.
I still think that the letter needs to be sent. I intend to be at the next AGM in person.
