The ray of hope as I see it for Next Battery and their technology is that they started work on battery technology ten years ago and long before EVs emerged and Panasonic and LG had lithium ion battery technology on their radar. Ten years is a big head start. I don’t necessarily see corruption as a deal breaker. Authoritarian corrupt states hasn’t stopped Russia building and launching space stations or held China back in their big technology advances. In some morbid ways corruption can help cut the red tape and fast track development.
