Any reason given, as I would like to know? Can you ask your friend to name some of the issues. e.g. speed, integration with POS or other functionality.
It must have been a significant issue for your friend as it is a big decision to change software. New software occasionally will have a glitch or two despite rigorous trialing before general release but you have to move with the times and upgrades are an essential part or the process as things can move pretty fast at times and you have to have a platform that will cope. At the moment e-health has is changing faster than ever and that includes pharmacy.
