Auditors need to put this in. They'll look at the 12 month cash forecast, and when there isn't enough cash to last the 12 months and there isn't a signed funding agreement or something else at the time of signing the audit, this standard clause will be put in. That being said, most likely the company will just CR in due course or raise money another way. But Grant Thornton obviously cannot guarantee that to the shareholders.
