This has been an issue with Gundagai since day one. Not enough locals want to work, and those that do, just don't care about the quality of their work, as they know they will not be sacked or held accountable.
We don;t know that they fired the Operations Manager, could well be that he realised just how big this job was going to be, and likely more hands-on than he wanted. I will hazzard a gues sthat he believed that managers and area managers would handle the day to day store issues and he would just make sure everything was run the way it should be. But from experiemce, the Olivers Ops Managers is hands on, needing to work in the stores filling in for staff and not resolving the root cause of the issues.
