ok, headline sales down but until i get in the details probably got rid of some unprofitable terminals and or a difference at the close of last period, money received and then payments to merchants over the cut off date

main cost of the business, interchange fees, wow, some great cost control / negotiation there..look at that.

So earnings before depreciation is firmly positive, not bad not bad

Net cash position is up much more than the jobkeeper grants received over the period

wonder if the banks that have been shorting it were just looking through the Chinese wall at bank statement and saying look , shssssh, revenue down, much be unprofitable.?

Obviously alot more to go through, but still good gross profit
cash position net has done well despite a few minor expenses coming through from ipo
below the line cost control appears firm with some falls as well

didn't see any massive provisions for legal settlements

financial investments in the vast majority are fix rate floating notes, not some investments in what could be wildly swinging shares listed somewhere.....

no doubt they will go the assault based on headline transaction value as there are alot of shorts at stake.

I just add back depreciation and the net profit is positive, and alot more positive than the previous corresponding reported period. Instead of adjusting lots of things to come up with a positive number - old fashioned but think the business is doing pretty good -

positive gross profits are always encouraging
