Eey Ore I came across an important scientific study that demonstrates the use of brachytherapy in the treatment of bile duct cancers. According to the study This is due to the fact that external beam radiation is limited in use for the treatment of bile duct cancers.

Interestingly, the article talks about bile duct cancer as a tumour and brachytherapy has a role to play in treatment options. Worth a read.
