I noticed that as well, well hidden... I mean market reactions drive management decisions, however at the end of the day people will connect the dots so best just to be upfront IMO.
Unless, they aren't sure so wanted a foot in each camp. I deal with software vendors and there can often be prompting to bring forward deadlines to meet quarterly targets, could be hoping for a hail mary early payment, but want to flag it in case this doesn't come.
