to be brutally honest, I believe that all of the previous drilling and assaying at Vulcan was fairly amateurish. Typical TAS. RIO must also share the blame too.
Having said this, and in spite of this, TAS did have a number of holes with very encourgaing results eg. VUD015, which I have already mentioned many times, including today again.
FMG were obviously also impressed by the assay results from these previous holes, and decided to relog and reassay most of them again.
It should also be pointed out that now, over 8 years later, the technology available to analyse drill cores and to ascertain mineralisation is far more advanced. The Hylogger technology being a classic example of this significant progress.
It is therefore no surprise to me that after reanalysing VUD015, FMG's very first hole under this new JV was VUD018, which is very near where VUD015 was originally drilled.
On this basis, yes, FMG is dead serious about Vulcan. And so am I.
