I’m still unpacking expenses into what is one off or likely one off versus ongoing, and interpreting the footnotes and fine print, but at a thematic level eg job keeper is gone and not coming back so that wage pressures will remain. Helping out merchants with ‘fee relief’ I’m assuming won’t recur. I’ll be holding and waiting for further data but main question for me is whether current issues reported as transient or structural as COVID abates and economy re-opens.
