I think all you need is an insto deciding to exit and the sheer volume in addition to various other triggers can drive SP down.
I remember reading a book called safety of margin and it basically explained how insto exits can create big opportunities
we have an overall thematic of rotation from growth to value and ofcourse still loss making growth stocks suffer disproportionately
but in the same way I was buying oil stocks when it was all mitt forgotten about 18 months ago, I am now dipping my toe in a couple of growth names . Bought Tyro and Eml today
