Reflecting on my portfolio given most companies (save YAL) have reported, the best were (in no particular order) three small companies in LAU, PTL and SNL, larger ones APE, QUB, REH and SDF and profitable even in difficult times SRV although a string of others such as FID, newbie IPG, TUA and hit by weather plus COVID-19 miner WHC did not disappoint. Some like GNC that are doing well have different reporting dates.
SRV may have been expected to make losses during coronavirus given how feckless governments in many nations mandated or strongly encouraged working from home.
That it hasn't says much about how management was able to quickly and effectively respond to fast changing circumstances and massive uncertainty. It suggests SRV's IT offering has stood the test of fast changing times.
To use a Biblical analogy, 2020 to 2022 has gone some way to sorting the wheat from the chaff.
