They also have to report in accordance with rules as they stand. not as as want them. The last official word from the FDA is thst a 9 month tox study is required. Until the FDA says something else, that is the state of play.
The alignment of trials, if approved, would be awesome. But to have an announcement stating anything other than what have have already would be premature.
