Horrendous H1FY22 result but perhaps the most mind boggling thing for me is the MD, Tim Welsh has a base salary of $577k plus super, car & add ons. He has the ability to earn $1.35m per annum with performance incentives.
Surely such a generous package cannot be justified for a company that is barely ~$100m MC that is fighting tooth and nail just to break even.
If the company was performing, you could just about stomach it albeit only just as there are MD's of $1b companies who don't earn $1.35m pa..... only PPG is not profitable. Why are we offering a champagne salary and be accepting of such a terrible result?
