I believe Tim's remuneration is not the issue. You have a business that has under invested for sometime and then turned around and acquired another much larger business and immediately started integrating.

I feel for Tim he has taken a business that most likely had weak management in place and his role to to increase his bench strength and rebuild, that's why I believe his package is so large. What's more if they can get it right PPG will be a much bigger and more profitable business than what most people would think.

Tim has his work cut out for him, however I think he knew that going in hence why he negotiated the package that he is on!

Give him time and I believe he will get there.
