Given the constant staffing shortages at the Eastern Goldfields Regional Prison I'd have thought a contract with Honeywell would be a done deal by now.

The ASV, if it ticks the boxes operationally, saves staff to do other duties. Then there is the other benefit that prompted Honeywell to explore the ASV as a solution, the cost savings on damages done to the sensors by staff that either don't know what they are doing or don't care.

Staffing is even harder to secure since COVID19 came along with all the restrictions on international and state borders that we've seen, this has meant that labour has not been as mobile as in the past so it makes it harder to fill employment shortages.
