They don't need to drill by Jan 23, but they do need to have made a decision about two months before that on whether they will enter the next term and drill (either with or without a partner). Getting a 3D survey acquired, processed and interpreted before that decision date is going to be tough. It may even be a hurdle too high for some potential farminees, unless it is a very small 3D, or PCL can renegotiate something with the Ministry.
