Good thinking... what's good for the goose.. would serve to draw a line under the market uncertainty.

I admit, the prices today were so tempting (especially knowing the divvy and NTA per share), I closed out of a position in a met coal stock and bought additional YAL shares. The divvy alone is attractive, and I'd be stunned if the market doesn't arrive at a realisation of the value in YAL shares and price it up. Will hold my position for several reporting seasons.

I'd say any Yankuang offer is dead in the water... it was never targeted at ASX retail shareholders anyway, Glencore has sold out of its position and and Yankuang have said in their latest papers that they haven't made up their mind as to whether they'll be making an offer! But the market noise around this does need to be removed by the directors. Pretty shoddy governance to be doing anything else.
