Because they are not really options, they are ordinary shares ranking pari passu with all other ordinary shares.
It is a quirk in the accounting standards that require them to be treated as options for financial reporting purposes in terms of disclosures on director remuneration. this is over and above their existence on the balance sheet as ordinary shares.
I have stated all this previously. You really need to read the base documents and, in particular the 2022 Annual Report and the NOM for the general meeting around March 2022 attaching the Share Loan Plan.
Because they are not really options, they are ordinary shares...
