Hi Neke, I will respond, at the risk of repeating what I have said in earlier posts of mine.
I agree with you that the current financial parameters don’t paint a particularly encouraging picture. But…I don’t much care about them. Most of us who have invested in TNT have done so because we are speculating that the financials will look a lot better in 5-10 years time than they do now, due to the growth profile of the industry. In that context, todays figures are not particularly relevant. Some of us think the company is well enough run, has tremendous (albeit uncertain) potential, and is broadly on track with its “big picture” even if things have been a bit bumpier recently than we would have preferred. At its present price, I judge it to be a good speculative “punt”. Not on the current parameters…on the potential.
