Sure, sentiment plays a role. But i think it is a little naive to put a 98% loss in 4 years down to sentiment.
The market is forward looking. In 2018, the market was anticipating future hyper growth due to the impressive growth numbers at the time, and, no doubt aided by Karl's claims that Livetiles was on target for $100M AAR. He certainly fooled me.
Then over the last few years:
- They stopped claiming they were on target for 100M$ AAR.
- They started getting a little creative with their reporting with the whole change to reporting on constant currency.
- The stopped reporting customer numbers if quarterlies.
- They stopped reporting AAR in quarteries.
- They tried to delist to hide their mess
- All of a sudden they report a significant reduction in revenue, likely due to termination of R&D partnerships that were incorrectly attributed to AAR previously.
Now, if you think the reduction of the share price to these levels is due to sentiment, then I'm not too sure what more I can say. Good luck.
