As mentioned before, price per BOE is important but so are a multitude of other indicators. Eg quality of partner, tax implications of divestment (cgt is payable), availability of long lead items and equipment that may be thrown into the mix as part of the price, not to mention the percentage being divested and who becomes/remains as operator.
