Not being that close to Malaysian property markets stories like the attached don't paint the best picture for supply and demand.
On the plus side for UOS - I think they have seen this coming and have been scaling back developments and hording cash. On the downside if there are hundreds of billions of dollars of developments with no one tennanting them you can see why the ROE and sales have dried up. The Japanese property market never recovered post its collapse so this could take a long time to work out.
Is anyone closer to the property markets and supply / demand in Malaysia?
