Agreed, but you don't buy SHL for franking credits. They've only paid out 100% franking in 2022/23. Every other year it's varied from 25-65%.
Anyway, I'd prefer to take the future potential growth over Woolies. And it's a little cheaper in forward valuations and a global player. Regardless, neither of those aren't 'likely' to destroy your invested capital over the longer term. Stalwarts I suppose.
