And yes job cuts will help reduce costs which was indicated in their half yearly report as a key focus for the second half. A portion of the large drop in profit was due to one off costs from the DOD acquisition but it does not say how much those specific costs were.

When considering an acquisition, the options are dilution, debt, cash, or no acquisition. The DOD acquisition as was a mix of dilution, debt & cash so not an excessive dilution compared to value acquired, which was however exacerbated by the low share price.

There is a lot of trash talk about the CEO - they even go as far as to say he "failed in Afghanistan" for his time serving our country in the military.
