GL is definitely viable, it too grades higher at depth, but the even higher grade Scotia was always planned as the initial primary feed but the cutback was slower than expected so they sourced the shallower ore from GL as a stop gap measure. GL will be exhausted by Qtr 4 and all ore stockpiled for supplementing u/g ore going forward.
I don’t believe any low grade will be required this qtr, my source indicated the APS mobilisation went well leading into February and was hitting the required numbers, have much better skilled excavator operators, the focus was firmly on Scotia now and the pit floor was down to below the u/g portal level and preparations were ongoing in that direction.
I don’t know about Halls Creeks but I would say ‘No’ at this stage given no announcement. The loan facility doesn’t allow payments till September from memory … maybe it will all come together by then.
