For my money, or lack of it, this year has been even more dramatic than the final scene in Don Giovanni (where admittedly the fat ladies are a bit thin on the ground).
Goodbye 2008, hello 2009 – I'm ready, willing and hopefully able, to regroup and rebuild the foundations of a more prosperous year.
Today I have lesser ambitions, and I'm going to let it all unfold casually, probably sell a couple of overnighters and just maybe trade anything that's up on my screens from yesterday. With the solid DOW lead, the charts should wiggle a bit more vigorously today.
