Quite right, shareholders are now caught in the gauntlet that the raise will enable AVR to get to a point of commercialisation. Dilution was inevitable unless they sold out which many jaded Australian LT RIs would have probably wanted,I suspect.
As it stands if a pathway to commercialisation that is funded can be established, we have a higher likelihood of a significant buyout number $ wise/ partnership for distribution or as a long shot going alone.
I set my bet a good while back on this and will leave in bottom draw.
